A new vacancy has opened for an experienced Practice Nurse in Stourbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Practice Nurse that is seeking a well established and supportive team. The practice prides itself on its Good CQC score and patient centred ethos. You will benefit from a training practice environment and dedicated social time for the team to meet, providing a friendly working atmosphere.
This is a Band 6 role and you will be required to have a pre-existing knowledge in order to commence. The main duties of the role will be to assess and treat chronic illnesses - Diabetes, Asthma, COPD. Experience of other chronic diseases will be beneficial to this role.
There are purpose built premises and other nurses on site to work alongside, including a Nurse Manager. You will be expected to work across a few different sites, there is ample parking on each and they are all very easily accessed from one another. The sites have good commuter links and are ideally located for those local to Stourbridge, and surrounding areas of Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Dudley.

Key Duties
As a Practice Nurse here, you will be:

* Assessing and treating the chronic illnesses, primarily Diabetes
* Supporting the Nursing team with other treatment room duties on occasion
* Attending meetings and training as/when required
* Working across sites

Package and Benefits
The practice can offer you:

* 28 hours, ideally over Monday, Wednesday and Friday
* Band 6 - up to £33,176 depending on experience
* Parking on site

* 5 weeks + Bank Holidays

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
The successful candidate will be:

* Fully registered with the NMC
* Experienced in primary care
* Experienced in Diabetes, Asthma and COPD
* A certificate/Diploma in one or more of the chronic diseases would be beneficial
* Experience of wound care, cytology, vaccinations and immunisations would be beneficial
