Position: Director of Nursing / PIC
Location: Co. Kildare

Working hours: Monday to Fridays, flexibility on call duty
Reporting to: Group Operations manager
Salary: €65-80k, benefits negotiable

A large nursing home set in beautifully landscaped gardens within walking distance of town centre. Well performing and managed home is part of a large group of homes, offering very good management structure and internal career progression to all staff.

Job Summary:
If you find caring for elderly people rewarding and if you like taking charge then here is a potential job for you. As a Director of Nursing you will maintain a high standard of care across all units, daily care and activities in accordance with the best practice and within available resources. Planning, development and management will be your part of your daily duties. You will part of a larger management team, with plenty of external support from other departments within Group.

Your profile:
To qualify for this fantastic role, you must have a Third level degree in Nursing, be actively registered with NMBI and also have Healthcare management qualification. You will also have a minimum of 3 years experience in working with older people within the last six years of your career. Ideally you will also have good people management experience. You will be of good character, enjoy a challenge and take pride in achieved results
