Full-time Optometrist Job, Near Birmingham

Superb new strictly full time experienced Optometrist vacancy working out of two highly successful practices in Birmingham/NE Birmingham offering highly supportive practice setting and excellent remuneration.

Highly established optical services provider who offer high quality well managed services to their long standing client base with great passion and always strive to emphasise a caring family feel to their operations.

This is a full-time role which will include a Saturday, however your day off during the week can be tailored to your schedule.

You will join a well-established practice with regular full clinics and an excellent reputation within the local community it serves, with an experienced team of Optical professionals already working at the practice to support you in the role.

We are looking for an Optometrist to maintain their high clinical standards and provide first class service in their small but busy practice with 2/3 years+ commercial previous experience important for this particular role.

In return for your services is a fully negotiable basic salary depending upon your experience up to circa £50,000 and qualifications, 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays and a car allowance plus more.

Key Duties

* Full-time role, working Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week & Sundays off
* 9am-5:30pm role with no evening work
* Experienced Optical staff working in the practice to support you in your role
* Excellent reputation within Optics and the local community they serve
* Established and loyal patient base
* Smaller, independent feel practice where you will have greater flexibility to spend time with patients
* Digital records system
* Trial frames and autorefractor available but no fundus or OCT facilities at this current time
* Single test room practices

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

* Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
* Registered with the GOC as an Optometrist
* 2 years post qualification commercial experience required
