Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join a large NHS Trust based in South West England.

Contract type: Fixed term
Salary scale: £82,096 to £110,683 per annum depending on experience – 10 PAs

This post will contribute to at least two subspecialisation from dermatopathology, gastrointestinal, urology, gynaecological, head and neck, haematopathology, breast and non-gynaecological cytopathology.

Integral to the responsibilities of the post are the following requirements:
- To be on the GMC register with current licence to practice
- To conform to all revalidation requirements : applicants that are UK trained, must ALSO be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview. Applicants that are non-UK trained, will be required to show evidence of equivalence to UK CCT
- To participate in the provision of a first class cellular pathology service.
- To undertake all work in accordance with the Trust’s procedures and operating policies.
- To conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Trust’s service plans.
- To maintain the confidence of business plans and development strategies formulated for the specialty, the Diagnostic and Support Services Division or the Trust.
