Our client is a private hospital based in the South East of England. The hospital itself is set in beautiful surroundings making it the perfect retreat for patients to recuperate.      

They offer a wide range of surgical services including General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cosmetics, ENT, Vascular, Gynaecology, and Urology. The hospital itself holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. They have 39 hospitals, 10 clinics and Specialist Cancer Care Centers across England, Wales, and Scotland.

We are currently looking to recruit a Deputy Sister with great leadership skills who could support the wider team who will inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Deputy Sister will need to deliver high standards of quality care by assessment at all times, evaluation and implementation of patient needs and guide others in this process. The role involves the Deputy Sister to be able to delegate responsibilities from the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse as required. The Deputy sister you will also be expected to be part of the Hospital’s Clinical On-Call rota. As Deputy Sister, you will participate through mentorship in the orientation and development of junior staff.  

To be considered for this role you will have at least two years' experience working in a surgical setting with full NMC registration. You will be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to new situations and be able to build strong working relationships within the team.
