Medme Vital Cardiology Services, a part of Medme Group – a fast growing business at the edge of IT and medicine, providing services in digital health is looking for the Tele-Cardiology Business development manager.

The Role

The Business development manager will be responsible for prospecting and contracting new customers as well as developing existing ones, starting with secondary care institutions but having in mind the primary care.
The scope of the business development manager includes, but is not limited to:
 executing sales plan in line with Company’s sales objectives and policy – find and take care of business opportunities, understand the customer needs, draft proposals and close deals;
 managing tenders and interacting with the key stakeholders in hospital trusts and CCGs;
 maintaining existing customers through understanding the customer performance and needs, product utilization metrics, supporting the customer with product-related challenges, acting as a liaison between the customer and the Service Line teams;
 managing the sales reporting, forecasting and CRM data accuracy.


We’re looking for a professional with several years of experience in business development, making sales in primary and/or secondary care institutions.
We would appreciate a candidate with 5+ years’ experience in sales of medical devices, hospital software or doctor-support IT solutions

A successful candidate should possess:
 Awareness of current needs and issues in the UK cardio industry
 Established relations with decision makers in the health care industry institutions
 An open mind bility and willingness to learn about new products and services and present the value to clients, creating opportunities for sales
 Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, ability to build win-win partnerships at all levels of the customer’s organization, including top executives
 Critical thinking and problem solving skills
 Knowledge and ability to manage tender processes


The candidate will not necessarily be office based, but needs to be able to travel to and from the London office from time to time. The successful candidate should also be ready to travel extensively throughout the UK
