INTRO

We are seeking a Clinical Lead to join a growing, award winning group with multiple services across the South of the UK. This particular role is to be based at a 25-bed Nursing Home in Kingston upon Thames, providing care to older people and those with dementia.

OPPORTUNITY

This full-time position will be worked over shifts between 8am and 10pm, with some weekend work and on call. The post is for day work; however, night work will occasionally be required to cover sickness and holidays.

Day to day duties will involve:

* Leading by example
* Assessment of residents' needs
* Organising care plans, ensuring person-centred care
* Accurate documentation on residents' records
* Training of unqualified staff and keeping abreast of current post-registration training
* Supernumerary hours carrying out agreed delegated duties including audits, pre-assessments of potential future residents, and rota management

THE PERSON

* The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse with an active NMC PIN number
* They will have excellent communication skills
* They will possess leadership skills, leading by encouragement and setting an example for the team
