INTRO

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join a growing, award winning group with multiple services across the South of the UK. This particular role is to be based at a Dual Registered Care Home on the outskirts of Southampton, easily accessible from the M27 and M3. The home has been carefully designed and equipped throughout to ensure the provision of the highest level of care to their elderly clients, some of whom are living with dementia.

OPPORTUNITY

Duties will involve:

* Supporting the Registered Manager in staff training, providing care plans
* Actively promoting personal independence and as much choice as possible ensuring person-centred care is given at all times
* In the absence of the Registered Manager, the Deputy will maintain day-to-day running of the Home working alongside the Administration Manager and Housekeeper
* Providing continuity of care and offering support to all other members of staff

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Dual Registered Care Home, they will be an RMN or an RGN with a strong knowledge of CQC guidelines.
