Mental Health Support Worker £12.09 to £13.95 per hour - £75 per sleep shift.

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & dedicated Support Worker, with experience of working within the field of Mental Health to join our established team working in our client's home in South Manchester.

Experience of working with clients with Schizophrenia, personality disorders or similar serious mental health disorders is desirable.

Your role will be to provide personal support and practical assistance, to include assistance with medication and day to day living tasks to our female service user in her own home and also, support her when out in the community, shopping, cinema, eating out etc.

You must be flexible and able to work a mixture of shift patterns to include weekends on a rota basis.

Shift patterns are:-

08.00 to 16.30 - 16.00 to 24.00 - sleep 24.00 to 08.00.

Applicants must be reliable, honest, patient, hardworking and conscientious with good communication skills and a caring nature. Excellent time keeping and attendance is also vital to the role to ensure continuity for our client. A flexible approach with a team players attitude is required for this position. Previous experience of delivering support to clients with mental health issues is essential, along with a caring, calm and flexible approach.

A full DBS will be required to commence work with Medacs Healthcare. This is to be funded by the applicant upon a successful interview, although we will discuss options in the event of financial challenges.
