Medacs Healthcare have an exciting opportunity available for a Clinical Lead to join our team in Yorkshire / North East. This is a full time position and candidates must have PIP experience.

Salary £44,000 plus car allowance

Key Responsibilities

* To manage a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a quality professional service to standards of service delivery and performance indicators consistent with contract needs.
* To contribute to the commercial relationship between IAS and Healthcare Services, ensuring that targets are met in quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.
* To ensure that clinical governance and standards required by all appropriate professional regulatory bodies are maintained.
* To organise and provide training for Health Practitioners using the approved clinical training materials and format.
* To provide support and leadership in the delivery of change programmes, proactively leading the team through the change process.
* Ensure updates from IAS are communicated and implemented by all HPs and documented on a tracker for audit purposes.
* To attend Clinical Lead meetings regularly and all clinical calls.
* Liaise with the Clinical Management Team to keep up to date with any clinical issues/trends occurring with the HPs.
* To ensure an effective audit-feedback cycle is in place; that all feedback received from IAS for their Health Practitioners is acted upon and completed within agreed timeframe.
* Responsible for managing and overseeing the CIP process and collating results to share with the Management Team.
* To ensure all Reworks for Health Practitioners are acted upon and dealt with appropriately within agreed timeframe.
* To have an overview and provide support for complaints when required.

Key Performance Indicators

* OPAS - to make sure all assessments are completed with the contracted timescales.
* Training - to provide training and ongoing support to all staff.
* Audits - to reduce audits and increase A1 grade reports.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Registered Health Professional with PIP experience.
* Evidence of achieving agreed targets and standards.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Highly developed oral and written communications skills with the ability to negotiate successfully and respond to a rapidly changing work environment.
* Demonstrates a positive attitude, role model for other HPs in regards to good practice and behaviour.
* Honesty and integrity and adherence to customer and claimant confidentiality.
* Experience of managing a team.
