Due to significant growth, my client is recruiting for a Care Coordinator within the Shoreditch area. You will assist with scheduling calls. The post holder will liaise with clients and care staff making sure that the right carer is in the right place at the right time. This role is ideal for someone who has cone from a Domiciliary care background.

You must be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:

An NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health or Social Care

A positive attitude towards older people, people with mental health problems or physical, metal and learning disabilities.

A commitment to promoting choice, personalised support and maintaining the rights of people with disabilities.

Ability to maintain clear and accurate written and electronic records and follow statutory reporting procedures.

IT literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to communicate, with excellent spoken and written English.

Ability to plan and organise, including organising other people.

Ability to build positive working relationships with customers, their families, care staff and other health and social care professionals.

Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think clearly when under pressure. Comfortable using own initiative to solve problems.

Experience of managing people.

Ability to train and develop staff members in improving performance and ensuring CQC compliance.

This position is within the London Area, and the salary is £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
