My client is looking for a Social worker for the Norfolk area. This hospital offers a specialist Neurodevelopmental CAMHS Tier 4 and a Low Secure Service for young people age 12 to 18 years. You will be part of an extensive MDT.

You must hold a Social Work Qualification recognised by the Health Care Professional council. Be registered as a Social Worker with the Health Care Professional council. Have good understanding of the Mental Health and Mental Capacity Acts and Children Act and code of practices. To be a qualified and experienced social worker in working with children with learning disabilities and/or mental health disorders.

You will be delivering a set of agreed service level standards within a personalised recovery model of intervention. Undertaking complete social histories and risk assessments. Inter professional working to ensure a robust discharge planning. Implementing safeguarding vulnerable children procedures. Be the first point of contact for parents. Undertaking carer assessments and care support. Working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team. Commitment to anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice, and to empower patients to the fullest extent. Liaising with all statutory agencies and professionals. Maintaining regular communication with parents/carers. Developing positive working relationship with other services in Norfolk and Waveney, attend regular meetings as part of the safeguarding board.

The salary is £33,000 per annum
