Location: Central London

Contract: Full-time

Shift Pattern: 4 / 5 Day shifts per week + Occasional Saturday half shifts

Salary: £38,000pa - £45,000pa Depending on experience and responsibility

Sugarman Group are actively recruiting for an exciting full-time opportunity as a Dermatology Nurse Manager within a Dermatology Groups flagship Clinic in Central London. The Clinic offers specialist diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases and skin cancer in both adults and children. The sites team is made up of a team of highly qualified licensed doctors, expert dermatology nurses, a physician assistant and efficient administrative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced Dermatology Nurse to join a clinic in its embryonic stages and gain highly sort after experience of launching a Clinic site with huge growth plans over the next 12 months.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Dermatology Nurse to Lead the Clinical services and contribute to an exceptional patient experience at the clinic. The role will be managing three part time nurses and physicians assistant.

Role Duties / Responsibilities:

* Seeing patients for Phototherapy UVA and UVB, Patch Testing, Photodynamic therapy, Daylight PDT, Iontophoresis, Venesection.
* Assisting the consultants in all dermatology surgery
* Assisting and facilitating the running of the Mohs clinics, including coordination - making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
* Seeing patients (adults, parents, children) for education, application of treatments, dressings, wound care.
* Ensure systems are always in place to create a seamless patient journey.
* Managing clinic diaries and bookings efficiently with the admin and clinical team.
* Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board.
* Create a stock ordering system, and process for monitoring expiry dates, stock control and ordering.
* Ensuring clinical audits, policies, procedures and medical governance standards are always met, and embedded into the working culture.
* Infection Control lead
* Supporting the CQC registered manager with the clinical SOP's, and clinical protocol.

Role requirements:

* Registered Nurse Adult
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Dermatology clinic setting
* Passionate for patient care and quality service
* Experienced in phototherapy, patch test, and other dermatology treatments
* Experience with assisting dermatology surgery
* Experience in MOHS surgery favoured
* Leadership/Management experience Mandatory
* A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
* Confident in writing SOP's, policies and procedures
* Strategic planning and decision-making capabilities
* Able to communicate and get the best out of people.
