Project Manager (Elective Care) – Northern Regional Alliance. Auckland, New Zealand.

The Northern Region is home to almost 4 in 10 New Zealanders, and its healthcare leaders have a good track record of working together to deliver innovation and change through the Northern Regional Alliance. Following government backing of our long term vision for healthcare transformation for the next 20 years, we are now moving into the next phase of our work, to scale up our collaboration to further develop and deliver those changes in clinical services for patients.

This is your opportunity to make a difference. You will be ready to be part of a team in a small agile organisation, taking a proactive planned approach to building your team and portfolio to respond to the requirements of the region’s health leaders, whilst delivering on annual commitments.

More details about this fantastic opportunity:-
You will be a graduate with experience working in a public healthcare system environment at least 5 years. This position requires prior experience of elective care services funding and planning and performance improvement.

Your strong project management experience and ability to work with structured project management methodologies and proven track record of managing complex projects from planning to completion and evaluation stage is critical.

Proven leadership competency, particularly across multiple organisations is required to enable success, and you will have an affinity with systematic and objective analysis coupled with a passion to seek and implement innovative and workable solutions.

The Northern Regional Alliance is going to scale up and partner with clinicians and stakeholders in our Northern Region. We will be focused upon the use of clinically driven evidence to shape and influence our future. A successful track record and history of regional collaboration already exists and the Northern Regional Alliance is truly a vehicle to complement, enhance and support the District Health Board teams to deliver “joined up care”.
We are committed to delivering the best health outcomes for our total population.

We strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds with the necessary capability and who share our values to apply. We would greatly value seeing more applicants from our Māori & Pacific communities.
