THE ROLE

Medacs Healthcare are recruiting experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP) with prescribing qualifications to join our team working in Kent.

We have work available in walk in centres (WIC), A&E, Out of Hours (OOH), GP surgeries and prisons.

Extended/independent prescribing qualification

Accredited A&E or minor illness qualification

Evidence of continuous personal development

Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner qualification/ first contact practitioner (or willing to work towards)

Minimum of 12 months ex in primary care, A&E or minor injuries unit.

Experience in working as an autonomous practitioner.

Clinical examination skills.

Excellent communication skills

Displays self-confidence and self-awareness, especially in dealing with staff and patients.

Contrasting abilities to work both in teams and independently.

Ability to articulate the rationale for decisions

Demonstrate sound Leadership capabilities when dealing with members of the nursing team and support staff.

Demonstrate capability to assume management responsibilities as required to support the Urgent Care Centre Lead.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Essential :

You must have recent relevant UK experience and be able to provide evidence of immunisations (to include MMR, Varicella, TB and Hep B) along with a current NMC Pin NO. You must also be able to provide clinical references.

THE IMPORTANT BIT

Competitive pay rates are available, earn up to £60.00 per hour.

Working hours range from: Monday-Sunday. Day/night shifts, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
