This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or aspiring Director of Clinical Services to join an established independent Hospital's Senior Management Team. The role will involve the provision of clinical direction and strong professional leadership to all nursing & clinical staff within the site.

Working closely with the Executive Director and Operations Manager to create and deliver the strategic, operational and business development plan for the hospital.

The ideal candidate for the role will be someone from a registered Nurse background, with strong experience in leading and managing multiple departments within an acute setting, ideally having experience in both Private and NHS Hospitals. This will include having a strong methodical outlook that will work towards business planning, with good financial awareness and budgeting knowledge. The role holder will be a hands on leader, willing and able to complete both back office and practical ward based duties.

Requirements:

* Eligiblity to live and work in the UK
* Current valid registration with the NMC or HCPC
* Experience in leading and taking responsibility of multiple wards (Private Hospital experience favoured).
* Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically, managerially, preferably evidenced by a registered qualification with the NMC, HCPC or GPC
* Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability and HCPC Standards of Proficiency and the HCPC / GPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
* Good financial awareness, including business planning and budgeting
* Leadership skills, being able to motivate a team of clinical professionals
