Currently our client also has an in house learning academy to help with CPD and specialist interests.    

Opportunity
The role is ideal for and experienced specialist doctors in Haematology/Oncology trained to SPR Level to work in our client’s inpatients ward and day care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible clinically to the patients named Consultant, liaise daily regarding patients clinical care plan and escalate and concerns or changes in patient conditions and work in close liaison with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care is delivered.

You will be required to provide clinical expertise to support the daily running of the units and clinical care delivered to all patients. Work closely with Junior doctors to ensure the highest standards of patient care is delivered. Perform all relevant clinical procedures.  Ensuring patient records from admissions through to discharge are accurately and promptly updated. Initiate lifesaving procedure as and when called for and be conversant in ALS skills.

Essential 

- Full and specialist training with GMC registration (and a license to Practice)
- Successful completion of MRCP or equivalent
- Evidence of achievement of CT/ST 1&2 in a medical speciality
- Evidence of achievement of foundation Competencies for a UKFPO affiliated Foundation Program
- Advanced life support training
