Sugarman's Permanent division are recruiting for an exciting Senior Theatre Practitioner opportunity based at an Independent Hospital in South East London. This is a great opportunity for a thoroughly experienced ODP / Theatre Nurse with leadership practice to join a dynamic team at an established Hospital.

This is a full-time 37.5 hour per week contract, The role holder will be expected to complete a flexible shift pattern. (Shift pattern partially negotiable).

The role will involve assisting the Theatre department during the perioperative phase of surgery, in either a Scrub or Anaesthetic position, supporting a team of staff and also acting as Leader in the absence of the Theatre Sister / Charge.

Requirements:

- Current valid registration with NMC or HCPC

- Eligibility to work in the UK (Unfortunately our client is unable to support candidates in residency sponsorship)

- Extensive and proven experience a Theatre environment, scrubbing for a wide variety of surgical cases.

- Anaesthetic qualification / experience (Desired)

- Mentorship Qualification (Desired)

- Great communication skills, showing enthusiasm and being able to motivate others.

- Experience of customer care, including dealing with customers in challenging situations.
