Key Details: I am recruiting for a Registered Nurse who specialises in Orthopaedics ti join a dynamic and expanding team within an NHS Hospital Located in Surrey. I am looking for Nurses who possess a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The Key details are -

Location: Surrey - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: �24,000 - �30,000 per annum / �12.30 - �15.38 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (Negotiable DOE / Including London Weighting & No Unsocial Hours )

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join an Orthopaedic Unit located in and NHS Hospital in Surrey. As a staff nurse within the orthopaedics unit, the core of your role will be to assess, plan, deliver and implement a high standard of nursing care, ensuring that the individual needs of the patient are responded to. This will involve tact and sensitivity when liaising with consultants, staff, patients, visitors and other internal/external departments whilst also consistently maintaining a high level of clinical practice. Duties & Responsibilities

* Assess, implement and evaluate the care needs of patients undergoing procedures
* Plan and deliver care for admissions and discharges
* Early recognition of clinical problems and report or take appropriate action
* Maintenance of accurate records
* Decontamination of equipment and ensuring equipment is in good working order
* Undertake extended roles such as venepuncture, cannulation and phlebotomy
Initiate improvements and developments in clinical issues and delivery of care

* All ad hoc nursing duties as required by senior staff, including potential deputising for seniors in their absence

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Staff Nurse opportunity located in the Orthopaedic Ward to possess post graduate experience within Orthopaedics. Proven nursing experience within an Orthopaedic in-patient ward setting. Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills. Good time management and prioritisation skills with a passion for providing an exceptional patient experience. Ability to demonstrate evidence based practice. Proficient at calculating drug doses.
