A brand new Service Manager role has arisen in the Hexham area of Northumberland. This Service Manager is responsible for running a specialist care home for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Further details are as follows -

Job Details:

This role of Service Manager is based in Hexham, Northumberland. It is working within a specialist care home with nursing supporting up to 15 people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

In this role you will provide effective leadership to the service and will be a role model to your staff team. Key responsibilities will include -

* Ensuring the team provides safe, sound and supportive care to the people they support.
* Working with the multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities and regulatory bodies.
* Take overall responsibility and accountability for the delivery of a high-quality service and promoting a positive culture.
* Provide leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring each individual plays their part in promoting choice and independence for the people they support.
* Meet targets set out in the Quality Strategy, which will ensure your service is providing the best quality support and care possible.

Role Requirements:

In order to be considered for this role you should be a qualified Nurse (RNLD or RMN).

We would welcome applicants who are proven leaders and have worked with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care. Previous management experience is essential.
