Senior Occupational Therapist Adult Mental Health Rehab service, South Dublin

Our client is a leading provider of a range of mental health services to adults in the Greater Dublin area.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a brand new initiative aimed and providing clients with a tailored rehabilitation service with the aim of keeping patients out of continuous admissions into acute care facilities.

We are seeking applications for the position of a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a brand new specialist rehabilitation team to work with patients with a range of neuropsychiatric presentations and enduring mental health conditions.
The Senior Occupational Therapist will work with residents with severe and enduring mental illness and complex needs who have had prolonged episodes of severe and enduring mental illness to recover and to regain the skills and confidence required to live an independent life.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a brand new program, the first of its kind in Ireland.

The successful candidates will meet the following requirements:
A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification with CORU registration
Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years) post qualification clinical experience with the majority in a psychiatric environment
Good strong mental health experience is an advantage.
