Job Title: Senior Theatre Practitioner

Key Details: I am recruiting for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join a Private Hospital located in Middlesex. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner you must be able to offer leadership skills to work within a close-knit team and possess passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The theatres across this hospital provide a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.

The Key details are -

Location: Middlesex - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: �32,000 - �39,000 per annum / �16.41 - �20.00 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join a Private Hospital located in Middlesex. Your duties will include providing quality planned care for patients during their peri operative phase of care by ensuring that all team members deliver quality evidence-based care, in accordance with the agreed operational policies and procedures. You will be required to support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department. You will lead in the delivery of patient care and in the provision of effective communication channels within the specified team and the theatre department. In conjunction with the Theatre manager and Quality, Health, Safety and Risk manager identify risk issues via on-going assessment and support the implementation of remedial action, monitoring and evaluating outcomes.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Senior Theatre Practitioner opportunity to be confident, proactive and demonstrate a desire to improve on their existing skill base to add value to the department. It is a must to hold a current NMC or HCPC Registration without restrictions. It is desirable to have Anaesthetics qualification. You'll also have post-registration experience, ideally you will have a post-graduate certificate in Theatre Practice either from ENB or ODP. You'll be an excellent communicator and team worker - flexible and motivated. As part of the wider hospital team you'll interact with colleagues on the ward because you understand that continuity in patient care is key.
