Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Key Details: I am recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Nurse Practitioner to join a Minor Injuries Unit in a Private Hospital located in South of Hampshire. This hospital provides a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.

The Key details are -

Location: South London, within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: �34,000 - �38,000 per annum / �17.43 - �19.48 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (negotiable depending on experience)

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Nurse Practitioner or to join a Minor Injuries Unit in a Private Hospital located in South of Hampshire. You will be required to Priorities patient care throughout the unit, assuming shift leader responsibility allocating staff and resources effectively, as and when rostered to this function. Assist in orientation and support to new staff to the unit. Support junior staff with supervision and development. Ensure that identified lines of communication are maintained with patients, colleagues and external agencies to demonstrate politeness and courtesy and sensitivity promoting the corporate image of the hospital. Communicate and liaise with all healthcare staff. Play an integral role in ensuring that junior team members are aware of local and general. Health & Safety matters, Clinical Governance and other on-going issues, which arise including patient safety issues. Act as a positive role model to staff and patients.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Nurse Practitioner to be a registered Nurse with current registration NMC without any restrictions or Registered Paramedic registered with HCPC without restrictions. Experience of working autonomously. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team. Experience within Emergency Departments and / or Primary Care environments. Evidence of ability to work unsupervised. BLS / ALS / ILS. Prescriber - v300. Minor Injury/Ailment modules. Demonstrable critical reasoning skills and decision making. Ability to demonstrate clinical expertise and knowledge of audit.
