Job Ref:

Medacs Healthcare have over 25 year's experience of delivering the highest quality home care services to vulnerable adults in their own homes and, as a result of continued business growth, we are now looking to recruit an Out Of Hours Care Coordinator to join our ever expanding team.

Working as part of our dedicated workforce, the role will involve supporting our Home Care Workers based out in the field and also, managing the needs and expectations of our Service Users and their family members.

The role will also include liaising with hospitals, out of hours GP's and emergency services as and when required.

This is primarily a telephone based role and therefore, excellent verbal communication skills are required, however, the role does involve retrieving and inputting Care Worker and Service User information on to our in-house database therefore basic computer skills are also necessary.

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate; however, the ability to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to prioritise their own workload in line with the needs of the business.

Shift patterns are 07.00 to 15.00 and 15.00 to 23.00 Saturdays and Sundays, 18.00 to 23.00 weekdays.

Initially, you will be required to work 1 shift on a Saturday and 1 shift on a Sunday however, flexibility is advantageous as there may be the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if required.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role/environment and have a caring and compassionate nature, always putting the needs of our Service Users first.

In return, Medacs Homecare will provide full training, an enhanced DBS check, paid holidays and a competitive salary.
