Key Details: I am recruiting for a Infection, Prevention and Control Lead. I am looking for applicants who possess the appropriate knowledge and skills to take responsibility for infection prevention.

The Key details are -

Location:London , within easy access via Train, Bus and car with carepark

Salary: �40,000 - �45,000 pro rata per annum / �20.54 - �23.07 per hour (negotiable depending on experience

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Registered Nurse or other healthcare professional such as ODP etc, to join this hospital and ensure Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) is addressed in all areas of the hospital and reflected throughout all activity related to healthcare provision. This position demands the successful application to ensure local infection control policies reflect corporate policies, writing local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as appropriate, and liaise with department heads to ensure these are implemented. As you will be reporting to Director of Clinical Services it is a must that you be a core member of the Hospital IPC committee (HIPCC)

Person Specification: to apply for this role you must hold a valid without restriction NMC or HCPC Pin. Teaching and Assessing Qualification, Specialist knowledge and significant experience in IPC which is evidenced. All applicants much ensure you obtain good communication and interpersonal skills, can motivate and have good IT knowledge to put together presentations. Experience in dealing with staff regarding clinical issues is a must. Specialist knowledge and significant experience in IPC which is evidenced must be displayed on CV's and references must show evidence of this also. As the Infection, Prevention and Control Lead you must have the ability to manager difficult and complex situations.
