Job Title: Sister / Charge Nurse

Key Details: I am recruiting for a Sister / Charge Nurse to join a leading Private Hospital located in Berkshire. The applicant will become responsible for day to day management of the Hospital Ward, and its staff. Providing clinical leadership in an effective and efficient management of ward resources, driving clinical excellence in all aspect of care received by patients. Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. Responsible for leading and supporting the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda.

The Key details are -

Location: Berkshire - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: �32,000 - �36,000 per annum / �16.41 - �18.46 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (Negotiable DOE)

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 Hours

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Sister or Charge Nurse to Lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community. Liaise closely with all staff regarding clinical matters. Provide mentorship and support to student nurses and all ward staff member Peers - daily patient reports. To assist Ward Manager in holding Monthly ward meetings, team briefings and team meetings to discuss problems/objectives. Teamwork and support. To identify, plan, implement and evaluate care/services offered to our customers through effective systems of documentation, quality standards, and resource allocation. Deputise for the Ward Manager in her absence. Manage care of patients under guidance of Consultant/RMO. The successful candidate with be required to take part in the management on-call rota. As the Department leader you will be responsible for Governance, Quality and the Patient Experience.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this incredible Sister / Charge Nurse opportunity to possess 1st level Registered Nurse with current registration with the UK Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC. Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). It is a must that you have experience within Fulfilling appraisal and performance review objectives and can make judgements involving complex facts or situations which require the analysis, interpretation and comparison of a range of options. Strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
