Are you a newly qualified nurse or an experienced nurse who is looking to gain experience in an acute setting?

Our client is welcoming applications from Band 5 nurses who would like to join our friendly, vibrant team with in the modern, dynamic Acute Medical Unit (AMU) based in an excellent NHS hospital in Kent.

The Acute Medical Unit (AMU) is a 38 bedded unit consisting of short stay medical beds, an ambulatory area and a newly opened ambulatory emergency care (AEC). The ambulatory unit sees patients who require transfusions, IV infusions, procedures and diagnostics. The AEC unit accepts patients referred in by their GP or by the Emergency Department for medical assessment or ambulatory care. There is the opportunity for nursing staff to gain experience in all of these areas.

You will be required full time role working 37.5 hours per week on mixture of shifts, including day shifts and some night shifts. The salary is £22,128 to £28,746 which is negotiable depending on experience and skills. You will also receive NHS benefits.
