Our client currently has an opportunity for a Specialty Doctor in General Acute Medicine to be based at a large NHS Health board in Wales

This post is suitable for those who would like to develop their careers either as a Non Consultant Career Grade or who wish to consolidate their experience before moving on to other senior roles. The department of medicine has a consistent track record for supporting doctors post core medical training onto the middle grade rota and in supporting completion of MRCP exams and applications for NTN’s in chosen specialties.

This post comes during a period of Health Board-wide service reviews, including a comprehensive reconfiguration of services in West Wales. The aim is to provide a spectrum of flexible and responsive services across the Health Board, encompassing:

• Participate in the development of a comprehensive General Medicine Service and Sub Specialty Patients across the Health Board
• Acute inpatient assessment and treatment for General Medical and Sub Specialty Patients
• Participate in effective leadership to multidisciplinary staff members of the Department
• Participate in the development of teaching, training and research within the Organisation
