Head Dental Receptionist, Kensington, London Medicruit are sourcing a full time head Dental Receptionist to cover two sites based in Kensington Job Description: To head up reception for a busy NHS dental practice across two sites ensuring receptionists in both sites perform to the same standards. To take responsibility for the administrative backup for the professional staff, patient care, reception staff training, providing accurate information to patients, communication with laboratories, hospitals, patients and the NHS, the keeping of accurate records and supervision of staff. Responsibilities: Ensure the highest standard of meet & greet with all patients Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure issues or compliments are escalated to enable long-term improvements in service Ensure patient’s experience is proficient including bookings, payments, and enquiries Maintain cash allocation
accurately on a daily basis and adhere to cash handling procedures Interact and communicate effectively with patients, team members and management team Involvement in staff recruitment and appraisals Training staff to deliver a high standard of customer service Handling patients complaints or any major incidents, such as a security issue or a customer being taken ill Ensure reception handle all telephone calls in an efficient and professional manner Be responsible for discipline, timekeeping, attendance and training of all reception staff. Organise cover for breaks. Skills required Attention to detail. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to learn and apply new information Ability to work under pressure Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business Able to multi task Highly organised able to multi task is essential part of this position Reliability and dependability Computer
advance skills, preferably experience working with Exact High standard of email communication with patients and other stakeholders Self-motivated, able to work on their own and prioritise within a busy working environment Good team player All candidates MUST have a minimum 3 years’ experience managing reception/call centre staff or equivalent.
