My client is seeking an experienced staff nurse for their current PIC role. This role is at a CNM2 level and requires all interested applicants to be a HIQA registered person in charge.
The role is based in a small nursing in North Cork city and offers an exciting opportunity at a senior level for an experienced elderly care staff nurse.
You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the delivery of a high standard of person centred care to the service users, ensuring that set standards and legislative requirements of care are attained and exceeded. Ensuring the development of policies, programmes and evidence-based practice are consistent with HIQA standards is a core part of the role.
Essential requirements:
• Full registration with the NMBI
• Previous management experience in a similar setting at CNM1 level is highly desireable.
• Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience required.
• Excellent communication, management and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of HIQA requirements.
• Sound decision making ability and results driven.
• Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.
• Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the company.
• Good appreciation of finance issues.
