London Calling for Band 6 CT Radiographers!

Do you want to work in one of the city's most exciting, vibrant and diverse parts of the capital?

Want to be part of a comprehensive range of services, including general radiography, computerised tomography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology?

TTM Healthcare are now recruiting for Band 6 CT Radiographers for this North West London Hospital. This Trust in the North West of London has a new state-of-the-art Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), and voice recognition reporting system!

The busy CT department in this hospital undertakes a full range of routine CT scanning procedures, plus a range of advanced techniques of Gastrointestinal imaging (including new techniques such as CT Colonography (CTC), CT/MRI of small bowel and also imaging of complex inflammatory bowel disease/cancer)

You will be working autonomously to carry out imaging and special procedures in CT imaging, delivering high quality care to the patient whilst producing optimum diagnostic images.  You will also be providing guidance and support to junior members of staff. 

Essential Requirements for You to Demonstrate:

- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Ideally 18mts Post Grad experience
- Full HCPC
- CT Trained
- Very good level of English - written and conversational
- IT skills (MS Office)
- Ability to work under pressure and in a high paced environment
- Flexible to cover on-call nights and weekends
- Excellent patient care, listening and understanding

 

These are full-time permanent position working Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours/week on a full shift system to provide a 24/7 service.    

Hours of Duty: 37.5 over a 7 day working week including mandatory participation in out-of hours duties.

Benefits:

- Permanent full time contracts, 27 days annual leave, Holiday Allowance: 27 days per annum, there is an additional allowance of 2 days after 5 years and a further allowance of 4 days after 10 years service (Pro-rata for part-time staff)
- Bank Holiday Allowance: 8 Bank Holidays.  (Pro-rata).  There will be a requirement to work Bank Holidays on a rota basis, on going training and development opportunities

- Outer London payment (weighting)
- All employees will receive an additional outer London weighting payment of 15% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £3,483 and £4,339 per year, on top of your salary.
