Good day,

If you are currently looking for nursing positions in the UK and completed your Nursing Degree/Diploma in the last two years, in English, then please read on. You may not be obliged to do the IELTS or OET as part of the English language testing procedure. However, the degree you obtained must demonstrate your ability in reading, writing, speaking and listening in a range of environments. You would need to be able to provide the following documentation:

You will need to provide the following:

- A university transcript of training

- A letter of reference from your training institution (or ask your training institution to complete sections 8a and 8b of the NMC form to accompany your transcript of training).

Your evidence presented must confirm that the programme was made up of at least 50 percent clinical interaction. At least 75 percent of that must be with patients, service users, their families and other healthcare professionals and must have taken place in the English language.

We recruit nurses across all specialities and work closely with hospitals to help and support nurses throughout the rest of the NMC registration process.

We provide help with everything from IELTS advice to general NMC queries and Tier 2 Visa applications. We are happy to liase directly with the NMC to see if we can resolve any queries you may have.

Normally, we can arrange interviews very quickly. Some of the hospitals we work with, allocate a number of slots per week to us for Skype interviews. With respect to the format of interviews, we can provide tips and techniques on being successful and we even conduct mock interviews with nurses to make sure you are best prepared.

If you are successful at the interview stage, the relocation process would then commence. This means that the hospital would give you a conditional offer letter subject to obtaining your NMC pin number. They would provide you with a certificate of sponsorship which would enable you to be granted a Tier 2 Visa which would allow your family to come over as well.

Before you come over, there will be certain things that you may need help with. This could be help needed to arrange the cheapest flights at the most convenient time for example. We can also look into schooling if you have children and also research into accommodation for you and your family. Some of the hospitals do have on site hospital accommodation as an option which is generally cheap and there is also provision of parking spaces. Hospitals may pay for the first month of accommodation for you to help you settle in.

Once you arrive to the UK and start your new and exciting position, you would begin your perceptorship. This refers to a period of support, usually 12 weeks, whereby the hospital would help you to adapt, learn and develop your understanding of what it is like to work in a UK hospital Trust. Once you are ready, you would then take your OSCE and consequently obtain your NMC pin number and start working as a qualified Band 5 nurse.

If you are a nurse that is currently looking for UK employment then please do get in touch and we will gladly help you in fulfilling your dream.
