Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Urology to work in one of the best NHS Trust in the UK based in London area.

The Urology Department at this hospital provides extensive emergency, inpatient and outpatient services to the Trust, and also has a vital part to play in the successful and timely delivery of services for patients with cancer.

Clinical responsibilities will include attending outpatient clinics, inpatient and day case theatre sessions, doing ward rounds as well as participating in specialist activities such as Trans Rectal Ultrasound Biopsies and flexible cystoscopies. You would also participate in a 1 in 7 on-call Rota with prospective cover with other middle grades.

This is a core Urology post which offers exceptional opportunities to gain expertise in endourology, minimally invasive prostate procedures and stone surgery. Laparoscopic renal surgery is performed at our Denmark Hill site and the successful candidate would be able to explore further training in this field. We would also encourage and support candidates who have an interest in research and publication.

The Urology Department has pioneered innovative and award winning surgery over recent years, and seeks to continue to do so as part of the Trust's evolving strategy to be a centre of excellence for ambulatory and short stay surgical care

Contract type: Full time/Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Remuneration: £31,614 - £47,647 basic salary plus 40-50% banding for additional oncalls

Requirements:

* GMC registration with a licence to practice or in process of applying for registration
* Relevant experience in the specialty
