Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Junior Clinical Fellow in General Surgery to work in one of the best NHS Trust in the UK based in London area.

Grade: Junior Clinical Fellow (SHO level)

Contract type: Full time/Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months minimum

Remuneration: £30,302 - £40,090 basic salary plus 40-50% banding for additional oncalls

The Hospital is one of the largest and busiest in London, with a well-established national and international reputation for clinical excellence, innovation and achievement.

Theatres

General Surgery has an average of fourteen elective main theatre sessions per week as well as a daily emergency list. In addition, General Surgery has an average of five day theatre sessions per week.

Clinics

General Surgery has a busy outpatient clinic schedule.

Responsibilities:

* The post holder has a general duty of care for their own health, safety and well being and that of work colleagues, visitors and patients within the hospital, in addition to any specific risk management or clinical governance accountabilities associated with this post.
* To observe the rules, policies, procedures and standards of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust together with all relevant statutory and professional obligations.
* To observe and maintain strict confidentiality of personal information relating to patients and staff.
* To be responsible, with management support, for their own personal development and to actively contribute to the development of colleagues.

Requirements:

* GMC registration with a licence to practice or in process of applying for registration
* Relevant experience in the specialty
