Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Specialty Dr in A&E to work in a large NHS Hospital based in Kent.

JOB TITLE: Specialty Doctor

HOURS: 40 plus on-call commitment

The salary scale is £37,547 - £70,018 per annum

The existing Emergency Department staff pride themselves on providing a high quality "shop floor" clinical presence, together with high standards of education, training, research and audit. The post holders will work in close co-operation with nursing, managerial and medical colleagues to provide high quality healthcare to the Trust's patients.

Integral to the responsibilities of the post are the following requirements:

* To see patients attending the Emergency Department, making primary diagnosis and initiating emergency treatment. This will be at middle-grade level within the department
* To participate in a 24 hour full shift rota
* To prove of a first class clinical service to our patients
* To provide sufficient information to colleagues during handover to ensure consistency of care
* To supervise and teach junior clinical staff including workplace based assessments (WPBAs)
* To participate in the teaching, research, audit and governance programmes within the Department
* To develop professionally and take part in all service development
