This independent busy mixed practice in Leeds are looking to recruit a dental nurse to start as soon as possible.

The role is to work full time Monday-Friday covering 40 hours per week.

Hours are 40 hours per week normally between Monday - Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, however for the right candidate we will consider a 4 day role. There will be late nights so flexibility is needed as occasionally treatments run over and we finish late.

They are offering an excellent salary for the right person - this will be discussed further at interview stage.

This practice offers specialist and advanced treatments including endodontics, implantology, periodontology, oral surgery, orthodontics and restorative dentistry. They also provide training and education to other dental professionals within our state of the art training facilities, with live camera feeds and dedicated training rooms.

Nothing is too much for their patients and you will play a pivotal role on their patients’ and delegates’ journey and the day to day effectiveness of the practice.

The position would suit a senior nurse or experienced nurse looking to expand their knowledge in dentistry and take on extra responsibilities.

The suitable candidate will be confident and have excellent attention to detail. The ability to adapt easily to challenging situations and work under pressure. You must be numerate, good written communication and a good command of the English language.

There are excellent opportunities for progression and they are ideally looking for someone who wishes to progress and advance their knowledge. Key Responsibilities Provide exemplary nursing and clerical support to dentist. Excellent knowledge of clinical skills and cross infection control knowledge of regulations and standards, provide explanation on treatments to patients, provide reception and courses for training. Ensure that surgeries are kept clean and tidy, be well presented at all times. Care and compassion for patients

The ideal candidate will be qualified with a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience and knowledge of four-handed dentistry and surgical experience would be an advantage. You will be flexible, with excellent organisational and communication skills, with a passion to provide support to the dentist and customer service of an amazing standard.
