Our client, a medium size residential home near Cirencester, has instructed us on their vacancy for a Home/Care Manager for their 35 bed home.

The home is situation is a lovely location in the Cotswolds with beautifully maintained gardens just a few minutes from all the amenities of the town. The home offers 24 hour residential care as well as respite and short breaks.

Accommodation available.

Responsibilities of the Home Manager will include taking joint responsibility with the Business Manager as the person in charge for the day to day running of the home, promoting a caring environment for service users through high standards and professional practice, which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service users. To ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual needs and supporting service users in taking decisions in matters which affect their lifestyle. To promote relationships which enable each service user to participate in social activities within the home and in the life of the local community to the maximum of their ability.

Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience in a senior management capacity within the previous 5 years along with a management qualification equivalent to NVQ level 5.
