MSK Physiotherapist - Kent

Currently looking for an experienced and dedicated MSK Physiotherapist.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* To be responsible for a defined area of working e.g. a section of a specialty, or a particular type of patient, working without direct supervision. Clinical / professional supervision takes the form of direct observation of practice or formal training / clinical reasoning sessions; advise and support is always available.

* To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in your care

* To be responsible for equipment used in carrying out physiotherapy duties, and to adhere to Healthshare equipment policy, including competence to use equipment and to ensure the safe use of equipment by others through teaching, training and supervision of practice.

* To accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients, and to organise this efficiently and effectively with regard to clinical priorities and use of time. To ensure a high standard of clinical care for the patients under your management, and support more junior staff to do likewise.

* To undertake the comprehensive assessment of patients, including those with a complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills.

* To communicate effectively with patients and carers to maximise rehabilitation potential and to ensure understanding of condition. Communication skills of persuasion, motivation, explanation, and gaining informed consent will be used with a wide variety of patients. Barriers to effective communication will regularly be evident e.g. loss of hearing, altered perception, pain, fear.

Must be

* HCPC registered
* Eligible to work in the UK
