Occupational Therapist - Plymouth - Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a client that is a start up Care Agency with significant investment, that supports the families of children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum.

One of the key early hires will be an Occupational Therapist to develop and review individual therapy plans.

The whole ethos of the Company is to work in collaboration with families to administer the child’s therapy goals and objectives and maximise their potential. The individual therapy will focus on the core learning needs of your child to develop their fine and gross motor skills, self care, play, effective learning and organisational skills and the management of sensory issues, integration and processing.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with families and the support workers team to administer the child's therapy goals and objectives.

Our list of essentials is as follows:

DipCOT or BSc/MSc Occupational Therapy
Must be able to complete an enhanced CRB check
Previous experience in working with children on the Autism Spectrum
Compliance with the College of Occupational Therapists code of ethics and professional conducts.
The new company has appointed, as Board Advisory Members, world renowned Professors in the field of Therapy for Children with Autism. The successful candidate will undergo ongoing training and assist the support team in their training too.
