Domiciliary Home Carers - Longsight and Levenshulme

As this is a mobile role, you must hold a full UK driving license and have unrestricted access to a vehicle.

Duties will include:

* Providing personal care, to include bathing, showering, toileting, assisting to dress and undress, emptying and cleaning commodes, catheter care, incontinence pads etc.
* Assisting with medication either by offering a verbal prompt, physical assistance or, on some occasions, full administration.
* Preparing meals of choice appropriate to the Service User's dietary needs.
* Light Housework, i.e. bed making, laundry, dishes, emptying bins and any other ad-hoc duties.
* Manual handling as and when required to include using a hoist, glide/slide sheets, banana board etc.

* Documentation - completing daily support records, medication records, mars charts and financial records - you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You must be honest, hard working, flexible and have a genuine desire to promote the independence of vulnerable adults in our communities, be an excellent team player and have a compassionate and caring nature.
