Are you looking for an opportunity to work with the best medical specialists in their field, have direct input into clinical trials and be central to the success of a business?

We are offering a great position for an ambitious and enthusiastic fully GMC registered physician to obtain research experience in a dynamic commercial clinical research environment located within two prestigious London teaching hospitals. You will join a great multi-disciplinary team of medical and scientific professionals and be actively involved in all aspects of planning and conducting clinical trials in various patient and healthy volunteer populations and healthy volunteers.

We are looking for a doctor with good clinical skills and the capacity to apply sound clinical knowledge and judgement. Your previous training should include the management of acute and chronic clinical situations. You must have undertaken and completed either your undergraduate or post graduate training in the UK to be considered for this position.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in prescribing and monitoring of drug effects. You will need to be flexible and well organised, have excellent attention to detail and be committed to developing your career.

Fluency in English, both oral and written, is essential. A good sense of humour and a team spirit would be very welcome.

In return we offer a generous remuneration package which includes a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, private medical insurance and a generous holiday allowance. We will also encourage and sponsor your continuing professional development, Specialist Training in Pharmaceutical Medicine and/or Diploma in Human Pharmacology, a soon to be required qualification for future Principal Investigators wishing to conduct human clinical trials in a commercial or academic setting.

The covering letter should include your availability, suitability for the post and eligibility to work in the UK.

Only candidates short-listed will be contacted.
