Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to utilise your skills in a role that truly challenges you? Are passionate about working with children? Perhaps you are bored of the day to day drudgery of your current role and you're looking for a new opportunity.

Using your knowledge and skills as an Occupational Therapist, you will be working within a private hospital with all ages and all paediatric specialities, for predominately outpatient work and the private client families, but also to support inpatients on our neuro-rehabilitation ward in the main hospital.

This is a unique role where treatment skills are essential, as the majority of the post will be treatment based, both in lone OT sessions and jointly with Physiotherapists, Speech and Language therapists, Dieticians, Neuropsychologists, Music therapists, Play specialist's, our Education Service and the Medical and Nursing team. In this role no two days are the same, you'll need to take pride in providing high quality patient care but you'll be able to count on a supportive team who'll treat you like one of the family.

It is essential that the ideal candidate has experience in assessing and treating (including handling) children with cerebral palsy and atypical muscle tone, Autistic Spectrum disorder and Developmental Coordination Disorder and in the provision of specialist equipment, particularly postural seating.

Please note there are opportunities for this to become permanent in the future.

Located in Central London, , if you're looking for a role that has something for everyone: from history and culture to fine food and good time please call Josh Barnard on 01785 256605 for more information.
