Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated band 6 occupational therapist to work in Sawston on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapies practices and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum occupational therapist job is £22.95 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and you will be covering maternity leave.

Responsibilities of the occupational therapist:
- To work as an autonomous practitioner within the integrated multi - professional team, neighbourhood teams, seeing patients in the community setting.
- To be responsible for own caseload and undertake assessment of patients with complex and multiple pathologies using specialist clinical reasoning
- Identify patient's needs, agree goals and provide appropriate therapy interventions.
- Provide adaptive equipment, rehabilitation programmes and make recommendations for minor and major adaptations in line with current legislation

Requirements of the occupational therapist:
-Full driving licence with access to a car
- HCPC registered with relevant experience of working in a community / physical rehab setting
- Competent in the assessing, measuring and ordering of aids and adaptions with the ability to verbalise or document clinical reasoning.
