Band 6 Children's Community Nurse

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated children's community nurse to fill a full time role in Billericay. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The starting pay rate for this locum community nurse job is £22.97 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the community nurse:
- Managing the delivery of quality nursing care, support, information and advice, for a delegated caseload, helping to ensure that appropriate resources are available to assist in providing this care
- Supporting and educating staff offering clinical specialist knowledge and skills for the delivery of nursing care for children in the case load
- Developing seamless care provision. This includes working with health care, social care and education as well as relevant charities including the local hospices

Requirements of the community nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing
- Current NMC registration
- Significant NHS experience as a nurse
