Senior Occupational Therapist

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior occupational therapist to work in Southwark. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapies practices and be registered with the HCPC.

The starting pay rate for this locum senior occupational therapist job is £29.28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 2 month contract.

Responsibilities of the senior occupational therapist:
- Being responsible for all incoming Social Care Occupational Therapy referrals
- Allocating work to qualified and unqualified staff (including telephone screenings, duty tasks, home visits and follow up work)
- Authorising work such as assessments/ major/ minor adaptations/ equipment orders

Requirements of the senior occupational therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within occupational therapies
- HCPC registered as an occupational therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an occupational therapist
