Band 5 Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse

Our client has a locum job vacancy for a band 5 registered learning disabilities nurse based in Warwickshire. This vacancy has an initial 7-month contract.

The pay rate for this locum job is £18.54 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) for weekday shifts, £24.30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) for nights' and Saturday shifts and £29.91 (LTD Company Equivalent) for Sunday and bank holiday shifts.

Duties include:
- Undertaking NHS Continuing Care (CHC) Assessments (both health needs assessment and decision support tool) for adults with learning disabilities who are the responsibility of NHS & Council.
- Providing day-to-day supervision and/or clinical supervision to others
- Presenting assessments to continuing care panel for ratification
- Undertaking regular case reviews for adults with learning disability who are NHS CHC Category 1 in partnership with provider agencies and relevant others

Requirements:
-To be eligible for this role, you must be a qualified learning disabilities nurse (RNLD), be registered on the NMC and have a valid, up to date pin. All applicants must have at least 2 years' recent post qualifying experience within Learning Disability Nursing. You must also be a car driver with access to a car.
