National Locums have been asked by a preferred London client of ours to find a suitable FY1 Respiratory Medicine doctor in East London for a well established, well run, friendly hospital.

We are currently looking for an experienced doctor to cover a vacant FY1 post in Respiratory Medicine at the Royal London Hospital from Monday 20th February until Tuesday 4th April 2017.

The post-holder will join a team of 4 FY1 doctors covering the Respiratory wards as well as respiratory outliers on other wards. You will be supervised by 2 Respiratory STRs and a variety of Respiratory Consultants on the wards. There will be experience gained in the treatment of many common respiratory problems including asthma, COPD, acute non-invasive ventilation, TB and lung cancer. The shifts vary between normal days and late shifts (2pm to 10pm) and one weekend of long days (9am to 10pm). There are no night shifts.

The applicant must have achieved a primary medical qualification as recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC) and have current Full Registration with the GMC. They should have at least 12 months experience of working as a junior doctor in the UK or abroad.
