Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Junior Clinical Fellow in General/Acute Medicine to work in a prestigious NHS Trust based in London.

The Hospital is one of the largest and busiest in London, with a well-established national and international reputation for clinical excellence, innovation and achievement.

Grade: Junior Clinical Fellow (SHO level)
Contract type: Full time/Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months minimum
Remuneration: £30,302 - £40,090 basic salary plus 50% banding for additional oncalls

JCF postholder will have rotations through the Acute Medicine and General Internal Medicine wards gaining 50:50 experience of the services. Whilst on the Acute Medicine rota the focus is in Acute Medical Take and treatment within the first 48 hours of admission. If the patient requires a hospital stay of longer than 48 hours then they will be transferred to a post-AMU ward.

This post would be suitable for any trainee who has, or are on course to, successfully complete a 2-year Foundation School programme or has achieved equivalent competencies. Ideally trainees will have an up to date certification for Adult Life Support training.

Although this appointment is not accredited for training the appointee will be expected to participate fully in the educational and training programmes within each department and the hospital. The appointee will have a named education supervisor.

Requirements:
- GMC registration with a licence to practice or in process of applying for registration
- Relevant experience in the specialty
