Job Description
Clinical Oncologist, with a special interest in Breast cancer (and melanoma), there will be some need for radio therapy. This will be a full rota post covering 8 – 10 PA’s, clinics, ward rounds and admin duties, there will on call duties 1:23

Job Summary
• Mon – Friday
• Clinics
• SPA departmental governance sessions
• Breast MDM, followed by metastatic MDM
• CIRU research clinic
• Patient admin
• Melanoma Clinic
• Pt admin/RT planning

Clinical Responsibilities
Direct Clinical Care: 8 PAs on average per week (includes clinical activity, clinically related activity, predictable & unpredictable emergency work
Supporting Professional Activities: 2 PAs on average per week (includes CPD, audit, teaching & research)

There is a broad research portfolio of cancer research undertaken by the department including use of novel agents, new radiotherapy techniques and surgical studies.
