Xander Hendrix Healthcare are recruiting for a Consultant Community Paediatrician on a 12 month fixed- term contract with one of our NHS clients in Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will work with the other consultants and non-consultant paediatricians within the department to provide a complete range of services within the department.

Clinical Duties – General Paediatrics

Assess children referred from child health surveillance programmes, General Practitioners, etc. with whom there are developmental concerns
Liaise with colleagues in CAMHS/Clinical Psychology (ASD team) in respect of children where there are concerns regarding ADHD, ASD and other conditions
Assess children where there are child protection concerns
Ensure high standards of clinical care by providing clear standards, providing advice and encouraging audit
Co-ordinate medical opinion in the best interest of patient care

Full registration with the GMC (or eligible to be registered) with Licence to Practice
Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Paediatrics via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview date) or CESR or European Community Rights.
Experience and appropriate training in General Paediatrics
